SESH India
Encircling the vision of making the world a better place to live.
The acronym SESH encapsulates "Save Earth Save Human". SESH is a 2017 registered Indian social development organisation that works delightfully to educate humans to walk hand-in-hand with Mother Earth.
Running with a sober motto, "Clean Earth Green Earth", this home of 1000+ volunteers aims primarily on plantation and cleaning drives. Our dedication and consistent efforts over time have led to our motivation and conviction to also focus on women empowerment, child education and the healthcare sector, competently.
So far, we have organised:
- 25,000+ plantation drives (One way we do so is through drives and awareness campaigns, and the other is when we occasionally distribute saplings.)
- 1,270+ cleaning drives to help lower some burden on planet Earth. (One of our excellent achievements in this regard is when he helped with the disinfection of the medical waste of a hospital in Gurgaon.)
- Classes like that of Self-defense and Wednesday sessions to learn Mehndi art for women to get employed and thus empowered.
- Campaigns to admit young girls to schools and conduct awareness in females.
- Two Free Shiksha Kendras with nearly 90 students each. (We believe supporting slum students with educational resources is nothing less than benefiting the child education sector.)
- We have installed Radium tapes and reflectors on 2 lac cars and on horns of 10,000 stray cows to avoid accidents on roads.
The power of SESH does not stop here. We have an eye on the public health sector through blood donation camps, general health check-up camps, and Neurotherapy camps.
Comprehensively, SESH India functions as an organised systematic rendering service – conducting plantation drives during late summer and monsoon and providing basic needs, blankets and woollens during the winter to the needy. Our other projects get substituted through this. The volunteers here toil just as the SESH logo portrays. What a way to bring a smile to the face of the Earth and its dependent partner, humans!

Our Story

At SESH, we work with all people, regardless of race, gender, religion, social status or politics. SESH India upholds the principle of subsidiarity to build links between communities within the country, acknowledging that all receive, as well as give. We work within and beyond our Indian community seeking justice to change unjust situations in our society for the good of all.

Vijay Mittal
Mr Vijay Mittal is the face of "Save Earth Save Human". A businessman by profession, his upbringing caressed his thought processes at the age of 43. He was brought up in a family where everyone stood ever ready to help anyone in need. His love towards society was sown in his heart by observing the service attitude of the elders. A transforming impact on his life was made by his very own grandfather, Shree Jagdish Rai Mittal - a benevolent person with a donor's heart. He was determined to reflect on his grandfather. And a day came in the year 2010 when Mr Mittal, along with like-minded individuals, finally decided to step up for society.
They did not understand where to start. Until one day, they learnt a bitter truth about the city they lived in. With authentic research, a conclusion was drawn that Gurgaon was only 2.6% green, and pollution and environmental damage were at their peak. There was no turning back, thereafter. Thus, SESH was born with plantation drives.
Small steps and a defined attitude with a dynamic board brought everyone together on the frontline. Filthy and unhygienic places of the city of Gurgaon were cleaned up and if any place was fit for plantation, we made it happen accordingly.
“One person can make a difference and everyone should try it”, said Fitzgerald Kennedy, with this belief, the founder Mr Mittal and SESH members walked and registered it as a non-government organisation in 2017.
Our person-in-contact addressed Mr Mittal as a faithful man. He says, “Mittal Ji never hesitates to invest in any upcoming projects proposed by any member or members of SESH”.
No doubt SESH has achieved great heights within a little over a decade.
